Dodger Cardboard & Other Random Finds

Couple of trade packages from reddit as well as a lone 1986 Topps TTM return. Let's see what we got. Starting this thing off with this 2019 Stadium Club Black Parallel Pee Wee Reese. This guy has always been one of my favorite Dodgers and most of the time, his personality comes through even on his cardboard.  Sadly, I don't own many of the 2019 Stadium Club Dodgers. I think I have 1 base, 2 red parallels and this black parallel now. Getting me closer to my 2019 Heritage team set here. Most of what I still need from these are the low number Dodgers, SP's and Variants. I normally don't buy any Bowman products so these are a welcome addition to my Dodgers PC. Another baseball season is gone, and with it comes this year's Topps Update set and the dilemma of is my Dodgers team set complete or not. Used to be all we had to worry about was parallels, but now we got parallels, sp's, ssp's and who knows what else. The Dodgers 5 2019 All Stars are all represented in Update, and all of them were deserving All Stars this year. Luckily, none of these have SP Variants.  A Dodger Legend, a guy we never should have signed, a guy that blew up (in the wrong way) this season and a guy that I had to research to see if he was even still on the team. I really dig the Russ card. I wish someone would make a card of him pitching though. Seriously, he was the best closer we had this year. Joc Pederson gets a HR Derby card, but the real Joc Pederson Home Run Derby didn't come until September when Andre Ethier gave him one of his old bats. I had sent Nick over at  Dime Boxes -- The Low-End Baseball Card Collector's Journe y a package full of Cubs, set needs and miscellaneous other pieces of cardboard a while back and the other day, a package from Nick arrives in my mailbox. Full of Dodger goodness, you could tell Nick looked over my list as 98% of what he packed in there I needed. This pair of Vintage Legends and a 1991 style Archives Jackie Robinson were 3 of my favorites of the bunch. That shot of Pee Wee stirring up some dust is classic Pee Wee Reese stuff. These came out during my sabbatical from the hobby, but I'm gonna have to search out more Dodgers from this set. Even though these Hometown Heroes don't have logos, they are still pretty awesome and would look tremendous signed. My Topps flagship needs from the 80's have some serious holes when it comes to the Traded sets and Nick sure helped out as you can see the entire Dodgers lineup from '84 Topps Traded. The 1986 Topps set has always and will always be my favorite baseball set.  I grew up spending the weekdays in the summer with my grandparents out on their farm. In the summer of 1986, I was 8 years old and helped my grandparents with chores out in the fields. I also helped out with my grandmother's sister who lived with them. She had been in an accident before I was even born and couldn't live on her own. Every Wednesday morning, we would go to town to get groceries and other necessities. My great-aunt knew I liked baseball and slid a pack of 1986 Topps into her grocery cart at the store one day. When we returned home, she surprised me with them. To say I was excited would be an understatement. Every week from then on, my great-aunt would buy me a couple of packs and I would save all my money through the week and get packs of my own. It wasn't too long until I had amassed quite a collection of 1986 Topps and then, the 87's came out.... My 86 Topp...
