Done!? Not Done?! The 2019 Topps Update Dodgers and the SP VAR Dilemma

Another baseball season is gone, and with it comes this year's Topps Update set and the dilemma of is my Dodgers team set complete or not. Used to be all we had to worry about was parallels, but now we got parallels, sp's, ssp's and who knows what else.

The Dodgers 5 2019 All Stars are all represented in Update, and all of them were deserving All Stars this year. Luckily, none of these have SP Variants. 

A Dodger Legend, a guy we never should have signed, a guy that blew up (in the wrong way) this season and a guy that I had to research to see if he was even still on the team. I really dig the Russ card. I wish someone would make a card of him pitching though. Seriously, he was the best closer we had this year.

Joc Pederson gets a HR Derby card, but the real Joc Pederson Home Run Derby didn't come until September when Andre Ethier gave him one of his old bats. He hit like 5 HR's in 7 AB's I think it was. 

2 guys that really stood out this year. I hope both of these guys have long careers in Dodger Blue. The Will Smith has an SP Variant and a SSP Variant. I need both of those.

The Silver Pack 84's are gorgeous. Especially the Black parallels. Still need the base 84 Buehler, Smith and Jackie Robinsons.

Topps went crazy with the Kershaw and Koufax stuff this year. 

Do you go after all the parallels and sp's of your team? I would really like to know how much you guys chase these. The only parallels I had as a kid were the gum stained parallels. I miss those.
